In Sound Mind is a first-person psychological horror trip that puts you in the shoes of a different character in each story chapter and focuses its game mechanics on their fears. It offers subtle scary fun that tells an exciting conspiracy story and largely dispenses with jump scares.

Until when can I grab it? The promotion runs from March 17th to 24th and requires a free account with Epic Games. The start and end times are 4:00 p.m. If you access within this window, you can keep the game forever.

What's in it? You get the game in the basic version, i.e. without the soundtrack of »The Living Tombstone« or the art book. You won't miss any game content in this version.

You travel through bizarre memories with the help of an old tape recorder and uncover a conspiracy step by step. At its heart is a mysterious chemical that seems to affect everything and everyone around you.

Along the way you'll solve genre-typical puzzles and overcome tricky boss fights, but exactly how both work depends on which protagonist you're playing. The story is divided into the different cassettes and depending on which one you insert, not only the main character changes, but also the most prominent mechanics.

While Virginia's story and gameplay elements revolve around mirrors, Allen's fears and gameplay challenges center around light and darkness. You then defeat the bosses of the chapters, also taking into account these mechanical deviations.

The developers were inspired by Resident Evil and the Ravenholm section of Half-Life 2. The latter is not surprising, since they began their careers as hobbyists for Valve's megahit and received a lot of praise for their Nightmare House 2 mod.

Asus Zenbook Fold: Exciting folding laptop with a twist is coming in summer

Asus folding laptop should be released in the summer of this year.

There are already some smartphones with a folding mechanism, for example the Samsung Galaxy Z series or the Huawei Mate X. But you rarely see a folding display on laptops. The only example of this is the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Fold. Asus now wants to launch its own folding laptop.

The device is called the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED and is scheduled to be released in summer 2022. The special feature: By attaching the supplied Bluetooth keyboard, it is possible to use the device in practically the same way as a notebook if desired.

Completely unfolded, you no longer get a laptop, but a 17-inch tablet on which you can watch films and series or do creative work such as drawing. In laptop mode, the screen is still 13 inches. It could then look like this:

The keyboard is included with the Zenbook Fold 17. If it is on the display, the device can hardly be distinguished from a classic 13-inch laptop.

The hinge on the Asus model can be adjusted to almost any position to find a suitable angle. According to the manufacturer, the display and hinges are designed for up to 30,000 folding cycles.

What technology is inside?

The Zenbook Fold's hardware is decent, if not designed for gaming. With the Intel Core i7-12500U you get a mobile version of Intel's latest processor generation. In addition, Intel Iris Xe-Graphics, 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 1.0 TB NVMe SSD for your data.

As for connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 are available. You get two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C slots and an audio combo jack as connections. The battery is 75 watt hours.

Asus has not yet commented on the price. However, it should not be low if you consider how expensive the corresponding smartphones are. A model of this kind in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has changed the user behavior of my colleague Denis forever:
